Dazu ein Auszug aus Paul Becks Oberländer Spitzbuben-Chronik:
1742 zu Biberach, der uns mit Buchau nächstgelegenen Reichsstadt, ist eine berüchtigte Diebin und Leutebetrügerin von Berkheim eingezogen worden.
